This class walks you through how to instruct in a classroom environment using the basics of adult learning, learning styles, how to present information in a classroom setting, and how to project a professional demeanour as an instructor.
With this class, and a little bit of preparation, you can build your confidence and
show off your skills in a way that makes your co-workers eager to learn from you.
In this class, students will:
Discuss challenges inherent in teaching adults
Review the theory of adult learning
Define how to project a professional demeanor as an instructor
Define how to present information in a classroom setting
Explain how to address disruptive students in a classroom
You’ve Been Asked to Teach a Class; Now What? is offered in two variations.
The first, a 90 minute class priced at $400 is for those students who are familiar with training, have had experience with public speaking and may want to refresh their skills before going into the classroom.
For those students who may need a more in-depth introduction into how adults learning, how to present information in a classroom setting, and classroom management, we offer a 3-hour class for $800. For complete information, please request our class curriculum.
